How to visit IITA
You can visit the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) located on Oyo Road, about 7 kilometers from the University of Ibadan. The institute is open to visitors, but prior booking is required to gain access.
To visit, send an email to [email protected] with your name, purpose of visit, and preferred dates. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll be allowed entry. Ensure you carry a valid ID for clearance at the gate.
For a comfortable experience, wear light, casual clothing and comfortable footwear, as the weather in Ibadan is typically warm. If you plan to explore the forest trails or other outdoor areas, bringing insect repellent and a camera is highly recommended.
If you’re staying overnight, IITA offers accommodation options at the International House or other residential facilities on-site.
